Aaron is a Product Software Engineer in Cloud SRE/DevOps at Wolters Kluwer Health, where he designs and builds platforms serving healthcare software to millions of care providers worldwide.
Much of his current work revolves around Wolters Kluwers’s internal AI platform, where he creates solutions to bring agents to every division of Wolters Kluwer, utilizing multi-cloud architecture and robust deployment tooling to maximize availability. Aaron utilizes deep expertise in AWS and Azure alike to create coherent, scalable designs that support rapid growth. He additionally works with partner companies and engineering teams to develop bespoke solutions utilizing the AI platform while supporting the unique needs of other engineering teams.
Outside of his AI-focused work, Aaron works within the Health division to develop and maintain a global platform of 50+ Kubernetes clusters serving products such as UpToDate and Lexicomp Online. He utilizes reproducible IaC tooling, custom Helm charts and Kubernetes operators, and other modern technical solutions to create an automatable, secure platform. He also works with junior employees to provide mentorship, guidance, and learning opportunities.
Aaron has a deep interest in distributed systems and enjoys tinkering at home as well, where he regularly experiments with a Kubernetes/Proxmox-based home lab to learn about the latest and greatest in cloud technologies.
